Minecraft Eco-Home
In this hands-on workshop, children will explore futuristic eco-homes and eco-cities from around the world, learning about sustainable architecture and urban design. They'll discover eco-friendly solutions like energy-efficient buildings, smart cities and green technologies that address environmental challenges.
Using Minecraft, students will then design, build, and code their own eco-home, applying concepts like passive heating, sustainable construction, solar energy, water recycling, and natural insulation. They’ll also explore food production in eco-homes, learning about urban farming and permaculture to create self-sufficient living spaces.
Throughout the process, students will develop valuable skills in coding, problem-solving, and design, while experimenting with renewable technologies and construction materials. By the end of the workshop, they will have a fully realised eco-home in Minecraft and a deeper understanding of how to design sustainable spaces that help protect the planet. This creative and educational experience empowers children to become the eco-innovators of tomorrow!
